By eliminating the need for a researcher to be present to load the PCR plate and individually start each run, the addition of the CFX automation system to the CFX96 and CFX384 real-time PCR systems provides a high quality, high-throughput, automated PCR solution. The device is equipped with a bench-top plate handler with the capacity to load up to twenty 384-well plates or 7,680 samples at a time on the CFX384 system, facilitating workflow, the generation of large volumes of data and rapid analysis of that data. After loading the stacker and setting up the runs, the user can walk away from the system. CFX automation control software manages the configuration and operation of the automation system with one CFX96 or CFX384 real-time PCR detection system, and allows PCR protocols to be defined for multiple experiments at once: either the same or different protocols can be applied to the plates. Upon run completion, data analysis can occur anywhere and anytime by selecting e-mail notification with an attached data file. Additionally, an automatically generated PDF report can also be requested.
