The DropSense96 is a new multi-channel spectrophotometer for quick and precise UV-VIS spectral analysis of microlitre droplets of DNA/RNA, protein or small compounds. This spectrophotometer has the characteristics of a plate reader, but uses dedicated DropPlate16/96 chips and 0,5-2,5 μL samples. UV-VIS absorption spectrometry enables full spectrum analysis of 96 samples in less than four minutes. The instrument is compatible with both DropPlate16/96 and classic 96-well microplates. Predefined protocols are provided for DNA, RNA and protein concentratrion measurements. The userfriendly software allows determination of labelling efficiency as well as quick and easy DNA/RNA quantification.
