The PhotoDoc-It Imaging System from UVP has been upgraded to include a unique viewport window that blocks UV, allowing fluorescently stained gels to be safely observed, and features a high resolution 8.0 megapixel digital colour camera for visualising gel images. The viewport window and the camera are mounted into the lightweight hood that sits on the transilluminator. No computer is required with this stand-alone system. A small colour printer connects directly to the camera providing economical, lab quality10cm X 15cm prints in seconds.
