High throughput plate sealing. For long term storage in liquid nitrogen or in environments where sample evaporation is a concern, heat sealing offers the optimal solution. The new ALPS 3000 automatic lab plate sealing system features a six second cycle time for sealing each plate. New touch screen controls and step-by-step guidance makes the system exceptionally simple to use. ‘No seal’ and ‘no plate’ sensors prevent the heating of the sealing plate thus reducing potential sample damage.
